Non-exclusive agreement to enhance global supply of products

Leading vibration specialists IMV and LDS have entered a business agreement to distribute each others products - strengthening their positions as the two largest providers of vibration test systems in the world.

Signed last month, the agreement allows both parties to combine application experience and local knowledge in order to supply customers more effectively.

Japan-based firm, IMV will exclusively distribute and service LDS’ High Force Water Cooled Vibration Test Systems and LASER Vibration Controller in Japan.

LDS will distribute IMV’s 3 axis simultaneous Vibration Test Systems and K2 Multi Axis Vibration Controller in South America and the European countries excluding Russia.

LDS Test & Measurement’s Vice President, Dr Lawrence Grasty, said: "LDS previously worked closely with IMV, this agreement will revitalise that highly successful partnership and allow both companies to focus on better solving our customers’ needs with a great range of solutions.”

Established in 1957, IMV is a specialist provider of tools for environmental test, measurement and analysis, including vibration simulation, measurement and test systems. They also provide customer service and maintenance.
